ASUS ROG Community Challenge Grand Finals will kick off today in Stockholm, Sweden.
The DreamHack Monster Studios will play host to the eight-team event which is set to kick off today at 18:00 . The contest will run from January 5-8 and feature well-known players such as Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and Eric "adreN" Hoag.
Single-elimination, best-of-three format will be adopted for the event and the competition will start with the quarter-finals which will be played on Thursday and Friday. Saturday will host the semi-finals while the grand final will be played on Sunday.
Maikelele & his team will play their first match tomorrow
Six team captains have picked their players from other ASUS ROG Community Challenge events that took place throughout the last year while two captains chose their players from online play.
Some of the contestants are Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill and his Australian mates, adreN's North American squad, and the Swedish team of Maikelele. Below is the teams, the initial matchups, and the full schedule of the event:
